In the environment of rumors on new devices, there are basically two major informants: Mr. Blurrycam, as it is called by English-speaking colleagues (“Mr. blurry Camera” sounds actually really bad, damn Italian!), and the GLBenchmark, that increasingly gives us details on future models.
Specifically, on 9 July, has appeared in its lists some Archos Ludo G10, whose name leaves unequivocally suggest a device dedicated to gaming, and we can’t help but relate to certains tatements made by Archos in April last, regarding a tablet dedicated to gamers.
Glbenchmark is not stingy with specifics, and so we discover that Ludo G10 comes with a fullHD display (almost) to 1920 x 1008 pixels, very special format, which in any case does not differ greatly from the Canon 1920 × 1080. Regarding the processor we know turn 1.5 GHz with GPU PowerVR SGX 544, which would aim at TI OMAP 4470. As for the OS, currently appears obviously Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich, but depending on when we’ll see it on the market who can say that there we will find Jelly Bean?
With the advent of increasingly powerful tablet in fact mobile gaming industry on this type of device is a double threat, both for traditional consoles and laptops but with smaller screens: which tablets/console know succeed or not is still to be seen, but being Android system that can be used more easily on different devices is needless to say that this could represent a significant hitch for the robot , as long as “we believe” more and more manufacturers. What do you think: same game, best tablet or console?
