Aria HTC, The Taiwanese Decided to Include Android 2.1 on The HTC HD Mini

Actually it is not a special novelty in terms of technology, nor will we surprise in any aspect, nor is aimed directly at our market, but the reality is that it is a very interesting aspect and size phone, especially if you arrive with good prices. We speak of the HTC Aria.

Barely two weeks ago we shared with you the first pictures of this phone, and some specifications, but it wasn’t the topic clear enough to give us realized that we were before a HTC HD Mini with Android as an operating system.

You will not only find Android 2.1 with HTC Sense interface inside, on the outside we have some new features like navigation buttons adapted to Google’s operating system, a renewed back with another texture, and a optical trackpad already usual in the Taiwanese phones.

We went to specifications, with a capacitive screen of 3.2 inches and resolution HVGA, a chipset MSM7226 600 MHz Qualcomm, 512MB ROM and 384MB of RAM. In the style of what you can find in HTC Legend, but with a more compact design and more traditional forms, we will see a video of its operation:

They have not neglected the camera 5 megapixel sensor, the battery is 1200mah, and like all Android phones on the market, has WiFi connectivity, support networks 3 G/HSPA, and Bluetooth 2.1.

Reviewing the specifications we have an Android’s first generation, not dissimilar to a HTC Hero, and almost like a Legend, I look like a much better option than the HTC HD Mini with Windows Mobile 6.5.3. But with the shadow that pursues the development of HTC Android, will carry daily updates?, time will tell it.

The HTC Aria It has been presented in the United States next to the operator AT & T, which will be June 20, priced at 129 dollars doing contract. It is very likely that we will soon cross the pond, but we don’t yet have any information on this.
