Our opinion: we have always appreciated the qualities of quilts of the English brand, we have not been disappointed with the Ascent 500. Its strong point, the integration of a membrane Pertex® Microlight®.Attention, however, if it is perfectly windproof, it is not waterproof, but still enough to face a reasonable humidity. Little consideration, a relative “thickness” of the outer fabric makes the tone less pleasant than the Salewa Phantom Flex. The comfort of the collar covering the shoulders well and the impeccable cut of the hood gives an impression of bespoke: everything is perfectly in place even when you have restless sleep, thus no risk of heat loss at this level . However we would have appreciated a more generous padding in the feet. We have not been particularly cold, but the product would gain in comfort. Commend finally the price: € 269.95 for a duvet and membrane product, gift.
