You need a visa to travel to Belize. A visa to Belize is issued at the British Embassy. Documents for a visa are submitted to the British Visa Application Center, located in Moscow at Bolshoi Savvinsky lane, 12, building 18. Information service: +7 (495) 7847144. The following documents are submitted to the visa center: –
international passport, valid for at least 6 months from the end of the planned trip, with at least one free page for a visa;
-old passports confirming that the tourist has previously traveled abroad;
– a copy of the completed pages of the civil passport;
-1 color photograph 3.5×4.5 cm on a white background with a clearly visible face;
-1 completed application form (printed or completed by hand in block capital letters, in English only);
– a certificate from the place of work on the letterhead of the organization indicating the position held, salary, length of service, date of employment, the period of leave provided and the preservation of the workplace;
– for students – a certificate with the seal of the educational institution;
proof of creditworthiness (recent bank statements, pay stubs or tax documents stamped by the IRS showing that you or your sponsor are able to pay for the trip and that there is enough money to cover accommodation and expenses while in the country, such as yours and your dependents);
– hotel reservation;
– for children under 18 years of age – a notarized consent from the parents (or one of them) to leave the child, if the latter leaves without parents (or with one of them).

All accompanying documents to the questionnaire must be submitted with a translation into English.
A visa is usually issued within 2 to 10 business days, up to a maximum of 28 business days. The visa is valid for 30 days, it can be extended for another 30 days on the spot.
Import and export of foreign currency is not limited, import and export of national currency is limited to 100 Belize dollars. Duty-free import of cigarettes is allowed – up to 200 pcs. (or cigars – up to 50 pcs. or tobacco – up to 250 gr.), 1 liter of wine, perfumes and toilet water – one bottle each.
The import and export of drugs, weapons, antiquities and antiques is prohibited without the permission of the relevant organizations, as well as products from raw coral and the corals themselves, sea shells of all kinds and turtle shells.
When departing from Belize, a fee of USD 35 will be charged.

It is highly recommended to take out medical insurance before you travel.
