The Church of Agioi Apostoloi
It’s not just the food culture that Greek Kalamata is known for. The city is full of architectural buildings and many religious and sacred sites. One of these is The Church of Agioi Apostoloi which is very centrally located and close to the University of the Peloponnese.
According to thembaprograms, the church was used until 1884, when it was partially destroyed in an earthquake and after repairs to the church tower, it began to be used again. The church was also affected by the earthquake in Kalamata in 1986 and was then completely restored.
