There is no international airport in North Dakota. Bismarck Municipal Airport, which has numerous connections to American cities, serves as the most important hub. The time difference to Germany is seven hours in the east of the state and eight hours in the west. The climate in the so-called Peace Garden State is continental. The winters can sometimes be very cold, making the best time to travel between April and October.
