The Central African Republic is located in the middle of Africa just above the equator. The climate is tropical. In the north it is a lot drier than in the south, where dense rainforests occur. The rainy season runs from April to October: a lot of water falls (minimum 200 millimeters per month). The temperature is then around 30°C. The warmest and driest period runs from November to March.
