Djibouti, which lies on the Gulf of Aden and overlooks the sea towards Yemen, has a desert climate. The weather in Djibouti can easily be described as ‘dry and hot’. The warmest period runs from May to September. July and August are the hottest months: during the day the average temperature is 40°C. Then it is bone dry. In the other months there is a shower here and there, but no more than 10-30 millimeters. From December to March it is quite bearable with 28°C. The sun always shines in Djibouti. On the coast, however, it is eerily quiet on the snow-white beaches: there is no tourism in Djibouti. Check a2zgov for Djibouti government and politics.
