Libya is one of the largest countries in Africa. It is located in the north of the continent. About 90% of the country consists of desert (Sahara). The climate is therefore: dry and hot. Only the Mediterranean Sea receives enough rain to allow plant growth. In the winter it is even pleasantly cool in the capital Tripoli. Libya is best to visit from November to March. The rest of the year it is around 40°C in the desert. At night it is very cold. Check areacodesexplorer for Libya History.
