Malta is an archipelago in the Mediterranean Sea. Due to its location, it should come as no surprise that the climate is Mediterranean. Summer seems to last forever in Malta. From May to October it is at least 25°C during the day. In the middle of summer, the mercury averages up to 30°C. When the wind blows from the south it can be very hot (40°C) and stuffy.
