Saudi Arabia consists mostly of sand. It is very hot between May and September. In the middle of the desert, the mercury then easily climbs to 45°C. At the Red Sea it is slightly less warm at 37°C, but a lot more humid. Between December and March it is least warm: 20-25°C in the desert and 30°C at the Red Sea.
