South Sudan has a dry period from late November to early March. It is then hot during the day with maxima usually between 35 and 40 degrees. At night it cools down to about 20 degrees. It is very wet from May to October. Nevertheless, it still gets 30 to 34 degrees daily and because of the higher humidity it is often more unpleasant than during the hotter winter months.
