Suriname is located just above the equator. The tropical climate ensures temperatures of more than 30°C all year round. With an average humidity of 80% it is stuffy. It is warmest and driest in September and October, which is a good time to visit Suriname. It is even better to go to the country in the relatively cool and dry months of February and March.
