Wisconsin is especially popular because of its almost untouched nature. In Pattison State Park in the north of the state there are not only excellent hiking opportunities, but also the 50-meter-high Big Manitou waterfall. An absolute highlight is the Apostle Islands National Lakeshore in Lake Superior. These 21 islands are home to beautiful stretches of beach, jungle-covered hills and numerous historic lighthouses.

The largest airport and most important hub is General Mitchell International Airport, which is served by numerous American cities. When you arrive in Wisconsin, note the difference of seven hours compared to Central European Time.
